Accessibility Statement
Axactor Germany GmbH attaches great importance to digital participation and the barrier-free design of its online services. In accordance with the requirements of the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG), the “YourAXACTOR” portal for debtors has been comprehensively checked for accessibility and adapted accordingly.
The following accessibility statement relates to the “YourAXACTOR” online portal, which can be accessed via the website https://www.axactor.com/de-en. It documents the measures taken to implement the legal requirements and provides information on the current status of accessibility.
Note: This declaration relates exclusively to the debtor portal “YourAXACTOR”. The client portal for companies „AxactorWEB“ is not currently the subject of this accessibility statement, as this portal is aimed exclusively at companies.
Description of Services
This website serves as an online portal and information system for debtors. For debtors, it comprises both a public (non-logged-in) and a protected (logged-in) area with different functionalities.
In the non-logged-in area, general functions are available, such as contacting the debt collection company via message and call-back form, change of address form, forms for entering or changing bank details, form for installment payment requests and data correction form.
Debtors can use these functions to contact Axactor Germany GmbH via the corresponding forms for the purposes stated there, even if they are not logged into the portal.
The logged-in area can be accessed by entering a file number and password. Debtors always receive this data with the first payment request. The following functions, among others, can be used in the portal area:
- View the current claim status
- Report and change personal data
- Installment payment requests
Applicable Requirements
The accessibility requirements are set out in the Barrier-Free Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG), in particular in Section 14 BFSG in conjunction with Section 3 para. § Section 3 (1) BFSG, as well as the underlying Ordinance to the Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSGV).
The specific technical measures are based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, in particular conformance levels A and AA, which are considered the benchmark for the implementation of accessible web content.
Compliance with Accessibility Requirements
The website is designed to be barrier-free in accordance with the above-mentioned guidelines. This has been implemented through the following measures, among others:
Keyboard Navigation
All links, input fields and form areas can be controlled entirely using the keyboard. Use the tab key to navigate between the interactive elements. The active focus is highlighted by a clearly visible border.
Drop-down menus and selection lists can be opened and operated using the Enter key or the arrow keys.
Readable Fonts and Sufficient Contrast
The website design uses color combinations that ensure sufficient contrast between text and background. In addition, easily legible font sizes and types are used to make the content as accessible and easy to read as possible for all users.
Simple Navigation and Clear Structure
The content of the website is clearly structured. The main navigation is located at the top of the page and provides direct access to all central sections and functions.
The middle section of the page shows the information and forms relevant to the current page.
At the bottom of the website is an additional overview of the most important menu items and functions. Below this is the page footer with legally relevant information and further links (e.g. legal notice, data protection, accessibility declaration).
Descriptions for Screen Readers
All visible and relevant contents of the website are provided with descriptions and/or descriptive titles to enable and simplify operation with screen reader programs.
