Ms. Leslee Cowen is a Managing Director in the Corporate Securities division at Fortress, where she also serves on the Leadership Committee, several investment committees and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. In her role, Ms. Cowen focuses on special situations, public and private transactions across the capital structure. Prior to joining Fortress in 2002, she was at the Baupost Group where she was responsible for the acquisition of public and private distressed debt and equity securities, as well as the acquisition of non-performing loan portfolios. She has also worked as an associate at The Argentum Group and as an analyst at the Blackstone Group in the private equity and M&A groups.

Current directorships outside the Group are as a board member at the Wharton Undergraduate Executive Board and member, the National Investment Committee and New York board member of JNF and Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School.

Previous directorship last five years outside the Group includes Learfield Communications, LLC.

Ms. Cowen graduated with a B.S. in economics, magna cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
